Welcome to Ambiance Congo.
This edition was an off-the-cuff, out-of-the-box selection of new and older music. The song selections were made as the show progressed. One great thing about Congolese music is that we can always find a song that is just as wonderful as the one before it.
I hope that you'll find something that inspires or just gets your hips to sway.
Here are a few album covers from today's program.
For the next two weeks, you may download a copy of the program here:

hey DJ Daudi, My name is Andy and im a huge fan of Congolese music. Through your blogg I found my long lost fave les bantous de la capitale record. Its the one simply called les bantous w sep pix of Pamelo and Kosmos. Dude, I was so joyous to come across it. I bought it in a cool shop here in Stockholm prob around 87-88. I lost the record and cassette copy and have severely lamented the loss. It has the most lilting grooves i have ever come acrosS. Is
ReplyDeletethere any way i can procure the recording from you.I would be both internally and externally grateful.
