Every other Sunday afternoon I try to bring you an enjoyable mix of many different genres and ages of Congolese popular music. I love this music -it brings joy and ease to just about every part of my soul and body. Every other week, let us see if I can show you why.
Today's program is a nice mix, compiled live in the studio, that I hope will keep you dancing, that I hope will keep your mind engaged, and that I hope, as with every program, you'll want to listen to again! In choosing recordings to bring to the studio, I found a few old requests that I had missed and are presented today. I also rediscovered this wonderful CD by the Belgium-based group Black Story. I've been playing that disc a lot ever since!
