WELCOME!
Thanks for your requests! Your requests always make for a more interesting program and I enjoy working with them to keep the music going with my selections.
Today we have a number of your requests from OK Jazz to Koffi Olomide and lots of great tunes in between from Wenge el Paris to Choc Stars and some wonderful tracks from a few rare LPs.

    Thanks for playing the Drigo Drigola track, David. It's pretty standard Viva-offshoot stuff, but it's still great.
    On the subject of Viva, it appears that Bipoli has "left the building", so to speak.

    Next time you're in the Mando Negro CD vault is there any chance you could play the track "David"? Great title, obviously, and a bit self-indulgent but it's a fabulous track whatever it's called.

    I'll be spinning a Bipoli track this next show, plus a section of the show devoted to a tribute to Luambo Makiadi on the anniversary of his passing.

    I like so much your blog, i discovered a lot of songs of my country (DRC). Could-you put the cover of the Koffi Olomide album Loi ? I can not find it in good quality and good size on the net please. I even looked for it on the blog but I can not find it. Thanks

    Yes I have a request for a song front this album like "Micko", "Mokuwa", "Airways", "Vicky" or "Loi" one of the most famous sebene of the congolese music.

    I also have another suggestion to make for your next post with the songs "My friend coboss", "Cresois" or "Voyage" from the album of Wenge Musica, Kala-yi-boeing. Can we also have the cover of this album, please? Thank you
