Today we start with a live track by Franco & le T.P. O.K Jazz. There's more OK Jazz and related music in Part B of this program, songs by Mayaoula Mayoni and from Celi Bitshu & TP OK Jazz (post Franco).
Some of my favorite songs this time are from wonderful new CDs by Bozi Boziana, Bumba Massa and Le Karmapa and from older LPs by Orchestre Le Peuple and Carlito & Debaba of Choc Stars. A few years back, I bought that Carlito & Debaba album used and the cover has some flaws, so I went looking on line for a better example...to find that the only decent one was an image of my very same album!
I have filled an anonymous request for a song from Pepe Kalle's PON MOUN PAKA BOUGE LP and paired it with a song by Nyboma & Les Kamale Dynamiques du Zaire from the same period for you.
Enjoy!

Hi DJ Daudi, I saw that another anonymous person had made suggestions, I would also like to perform for this blog that I follow carefully. I provide the list:
ReplyDelete- Pepe Kalle - "Gérant", "Milla", "Zonga aimé" or "Pedro" from the album Gerant
- Wenge Musica - "Mon ami coboss", "Danico" or "C'est trop tard Djenga" from the album Kala-Yi-Boeing
- Ferré Gola - "Maboko Pamba", "Kerozene", "12 hours", "Bequille", "Soke" or "Eclipse" from the album Qui est derrière toi ?
For all his suggestions, if there is one that is taken into account is it possible to put his cover please? Thank you very much DJ Daudi, I will try to make suggestions as often as possible !
Welcome and thanks for your requests! I have probably played most of those songs before it not all, but I will choose a couple to play again. I think the Gerant album was actually a compilation from other records. You can find the other album covers by searching the good as they are already there.
ReplyDeleteSearching the blog. Spell checker is annoying.😡
