Ambiance Congo: June 2, 2013

Welcome to Ambiance Congo!

Once again we have an all vinyl program, pulling out the great old LPs and 45s for a tasty mix of the good, long songs. Many thanks to Doctor Rhythm and to Juan Carlos who contributed songs to the program and to everyone who tuned in live on Sunday!
You may have listened to a few of the songs before, but until now I haven't spun them on this program hopefully you will hear something new and exciting.

Here are some album covers.

An exceptionally enjoyable trip to the Congos this week, David. You must have spent a goodly bit of time in the vinyl vault picking out all those pearls - every track an absolute delight. Cheers.

  2. Thanks, Dave. I did enjoy picking out those songs. I always enjoy the older music so much. Maybe I am becoming nostalgic in my old age. Songs much like these got me hooked in the first place some 40 odd years ago. More like it's just great, timeless music whose appeal will never be lost.
