I have been playing a lot of older music of late, so in today's first set, I have played some newer music that I enjoy for your listening pleasure.
Balise Bula's RENDIKITA discs are still in my top favorites for the year, so I've added an excellent song from that set.
At the recommendation of a listener in the UK, I got a copy of the latest Dago Son (Dagoson) disc and a song is included here.
The second set takes us back to some great older LPs. I have to thank Alice for her call during the program, encouraging me to keep these great songs coming...which I did! Thanks also to the anonymous caller who wanted to express his great pleasure with the song from the LP by Jean Sylvain Goma (with sax by Verckys). I've played songs from most of these albums before and the album sleeve images can be found by searching these pages.
