Today we start with a great live track from Luambo Makiadi "Franco" and his O.K. Jazz from the double LP of the Afro-European tour. Next is a cut from Wuta Mayi's newest album, LA FACE CACHEE, a song that is very reminiscent of the OK Jazz style.
Last time, I started with some Congolese songs that are not in the typical rumba odemba style that we love so much and today I've added a few more songs that are "something different" from singles and rare albums. Check out Bovic & Orchestre Veve's cover of the western rock song VENUS!
In the second hour, I've added a song from guitarist Felix Maunaku's hard to find KONGO CD, newer music from Passy Ngongo Mermans, a little bit of modern "rhumba" and a great classic by Docteur Nico and African Fiesta Sukisa.
